We feed Nutrience dog food
or if your dog has a sensitive stomach we recommend that you
bring your own food. We try to keep them on the same feeding schedule that
they are used to at home. You are welcome to bring a favorite blanket or toy
from home that you would not care about if it got chewed up. It is nice for
the first time dogs to have something with the smell of home to help them
settle in.
Our prices are $16.00 per night.
We also offer a variety of exercise packages. Our basic package
is $18.00 per night and includes time in the exercise pen. If your dog likes
to play, they can go in the pen with another dog for this time, if not, they
can be in there on their own. The exercise pen is 20 feet by 40 feet and is
enclosed. We also offer the BRONZE package which is $21.00 per night and
includes an individual walk or swim. The swims are offered only for as long
as the weather allows and the walks are year round, In season, we have a
spring fed pond that many of our dogs enjoy cooling off in. The next package
is the SILVER package which is $23.00 per night and includes a walk or swim
as well as exercise pen. And finally we offer the GOLD package which is
$28.00 per night which includes 2 walks or swims as well as the exercise
pen.
We do require all shots up to date,
including kennel cough. First time clients must bring in proof of
immunization.
If you are bringing in a dog for the first time, you will need to have a few
extra minutes to fill out some basic information on your dog. We need to
know health history, name of your vet as well as a number we can reach you
at while you are away.
Our kennel is open 6 days a week
for drop off and pick up from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm for your
convenience. We are located 5 kilometers north of Strathmore, right off the
#1 highway, Please call us at 403-934-2377 if you require further
information or would like to book. Keep in mind that you need to call ahead
at least 5 —6 wks in advance for peak holiday bookings, e.g. July, August
and December.
